Planned urbanization, which is spread out in 19th century aimed to enhance urbanization;nevertheless, in Turkey this concept gained impartance in the republic period. In the beginning, because of the fact that there were lack of Turkish architects in the country, initial planning attempts were achieved by foreigner architects;however, the fact also led to emergence of a unique architecture and urban planning concept. This architecture movement that mostly influenced by Classical Ottoman art an Turkish Nationalism started to occur in public buildigs initially. Thus, in many Anatolian cities, especially in Ankara, the concept of '' Early Republic Age National Architecture'' influences are started to be observed. During the first ten years, except İzmir, İstanbul and Ankara, municipal plans became a significant factor, which shows that modern architecture and urban planning relation comes into prominance.
